Tempo Tots Christmas Sessions

Tuesday, December 28th, 2010

The Tempo Tots Christmas Sessions on the 22nd Dec really got everyone in the mood for Christmas. ¬†Fantastic festive fun for all. There were mince pies, Christmas songs and even Santa came to visit to give everyone an early present. Wow. The children looked gorgeous dressed up in everything from angels to rudolfs to santas to christmas puddings! 104 children photographed in 3 hours….phew. I am just processing all the pictures. I am hoping to have them uploaded to my website by the first week in January. Family Christmas parties and 3 family birthdays have made it a very busy few days but I will do my best to get them up as soon as I can.

I hope you all had a really happy time and I will look forward to seeing you in the New Year.

Alert Freya

Tuesday, December 7th, 2010

I had a lovely Saturday morning shooting Freya Hannah – one of the most alert 13 week old babies I have ever met! It might be because she is sleeping very well at night…. leaving plenty of energy to marvel at everything during the day. She was really interested in the camera so was a perfect model. Here are some of my favourite pictures……

Tempo Tots Christmas Celebrations

Tuesday, December 7th, 2010

Hi there,

The special Tempo Tots Christmas Celebration sessions are on the morning of the 22nd December at York House. I am really excited to be taking pictures at all three sessions. Once edited and processed, I will post all the images in a file in the recent shoots section of my website www.judejarvis.com. Charlotte and I will send out an email to let you all know when they are up. I will be charging a small amount for each print of which 20% will go to the NSPCC. Can’t wait to see you all there and to see the little ones looking very festive! Email Charlotte to book your places if you haven’t already. Charlottes-tempo-tots@hotmail.com

Let it snow!

Thursday, December 2nd, 2010

I loved walking my dog Boudi this morning. I understand that Snow brings problems. There have been hundreds of people inconvenienced by this weather either stuck at work, stuck at home or worse stuck on a train between the two! The pavements are slippy and it takes at least 5 minutes to get out of the front door by the time you have layered up. But, entering the park this morning brought a whole different, refreshing viewpoint. There were hundreds of children squealing with delight building snowmen, sledging on whatever smooth, flat thing they could find and chucking snowballs at everyone who came within throwing distance. What fun! The dog adored burying her ball and finding it again. And dog walkers all commented to one another how magical it was. If the weather is getting you down, head towards the nearest park. Everything looks beautiful and clean. And if you let your inner child or dog out, it’ll be great fun!

Love is in the air

Thursday, December 2nd, 2010

A few weeks ago, my brother-in-law proposed by the river, just along from Richmond Bridge, after a delicious meal at Gaucho. The riverside at Richmond has got to be one of the most gorgeous places in the world, don’t you think? It always upsets me when visitors to the area don’t seem to stare and marvel as much as I do! Anyway I was walking back over the bridge after a newborn baby shoot on a beautiful autumnal day and couldn’t resist snapping the view to commemorate their special moment.
