My latest Slice of Life

Sunday, June 26th, 2011

This is my latest Slice of Life montage depicting the Atkinsons at and around their home. You’ll see amongst other things their favourite furnishings and artwork, the children’s favourite toys, room furnishings, the street name, local pub, the family doing their favourite things…. feeding the ducks, pretending to be airplanes, looking for lions in the long grass….. and eating cake! The finished article is 30×20 inches.

A Birthday Present for Mark

Sunday, June 26th, 2011

Another day spent dodging showers and sheltering under trees but it all worked out rather well. What better place to be hiding from the rain but under the trees at the top of Richmond Hill looking over The Terrace Field down to the river and beyond?! Jude (great name) gave Mark a family photo shoot with me as a Birthday present. They were naturals in front of the camera and born entertainers doing mean tricks with a rug behind the camera!

The Atkinsons by the river near Kingston

Wednesday, June 15th, 2011

The skies were kind to us for this shoot – the minute we got back home, the heavens opened. Phew! With two¬†willing and hilarious parents,¬†continuously smiley Chloe with incredible eyes, and ‘Super-quick, Lion-catcher Liam’ hunting in the grass…. the time whizzed by… ROAR!

The Bertrands

Friday, May 13th, 2011

A shoot in South Ken…. in ‘Joseph Triangle’ no less! It was so nice to be “a girl about town” for a couple of hours….. even if it was a Sunday morning window shopping girl lugging a camera bag…..! I love that part of London. I met the Bertrands at home before going off to play football in the gardens of St.Luke’s church and all of a sudden it was lunchtime – a really lovely family. Here are a few of my favourite shots…..

Good Friday in the beautiful Woodland Gardens. “Buck, buck, buck!” (Duck!) We had great fun and did a LOT of running – perfect before scoffing chocolate all weekend!

Family Fun in the sun

Wednesday, April 13th, 2011

The Wemyss Family had their cousins down to stay from Scotland last weekend and I had the pleasure of running around Kew Gardens with them all on Sunday morning. It was magnificent with the magnolias, blossom and spring flowers out and such great fun – the perfect environment for photography. Archie, Emily, Angus and Harry were incredibly well behaved and so polite. I will bear them in mind as I struggle with my little madam of a 16 month old!! Here are some of my favourite photos as always. I am also building them a couple of photomontages from the shoot as there were such a lot of lovely images.
