A Birthday Present for Mark

Sunday, June 26th, 2011

Another day spent dodging showers and sheltering under trees but it all worked out rather well. What better place to be hiding from the rain but under the trees at the top of Richmond Hill looking over The Terrace Field down to the river and beyond?! Jude (great name) gave Mark a family photo shoot with me as a Birthday present. They were naturals in front of the camera and born entertainers doing mean tricks with a rug behind the camera!

Lola

Wednesday, May 25th, 2011

My first canine shoot…. gorgeous Lola in Richmond Park. Quite a different skill from photographing children but I got there in the end and really enjoyed it. Lola was impeccably behaved – treats work wonders – even in getting her to sit still and stay sitting on a bench! If the “like owner, like dog” phenomenon applies in this case, there’s a prize to anyone that can guess who the owner is…Enjoy…….!

Bank Holiday Monday in The Terrace Gardens… Thomas, bikes, a picnic, balls… followed by Babyccinos in The Richmond Hill Bakery. What a perfect morning!

Family Fun in the sun

Wednesday, April 13th, 2011

The Wemyss Family had their cousins down to stay from Scotland last weekend and I had the pleasure of running around Kew Gardens with them all on Sunday morning. It was magnificent with the magnolias, blossom and spring flowers out and such great fun – the perfect environment for photography. Archie, Emily, Angus and Harry were incredibly well behaved and so polite. I will bear them in mind as I struggle with my little madam of a 16 month old!! Here are some of my favourite photos as always. I am also building them a couple of photomontages from the shoot as there were such a lot of lovely images.

Lauren and Katinka

Saturday, April 2nd, 2011

Spring has sprung. I did a shoot in one of my most favourite parks this week. It was wonderful to have such a choice of beautiful backdrops with camelias, magnolias, blossom, daffodils……

Little Katinka is a thinker. You could see her looking and everything and taking it all in. She loved looking at the ducks and flowers especially. We were having such a good time, the afternoon just ran away with us.

Here are some of my favourite pictures as always.

Love is in the air

Thursday, December 2nd, 2010

A few weeks ago, my brother-in-law proposed by the river, just along from Richmond Bridge, after a delicious meal at Gaucho. The riverside at Richmond has got to be one of the most gorgeous places in the world, don’t you think? It always upsets me when visitors to the area don’t seem to stare and marvel as much as I do! Anyway I was walking back over the bridge after a newborn baby shoot on a beautiful autumnal day and couldn’t resist snapping the view to commemorate their special moment.
